easting

Land records and sensor data, turned into coordinates you can defend.

A vision model reads the document. Deterministic code decides whether to believe it. Every parcel, corridor, and site Easting produces arrives with the arithmetic already checked and the source text still attached.

Product lines

Recorded deeds become parcel geometry you can defend in a plat room.

For
County GIS and assessor offices, title and land-services firms, ROW teams
Role
Fast-to-market wedge
  • Every boundary call extracted with its verbatim source text
  • Traverse recomputed and closure-checked before anything reaches your map
  • Runs inside QGIS; exports GeoPackage
How it works

Easting Sites

Research

Kill bad sites before the consultants bill for them.

For
Data-center and storage developers, land brokers feeding them
Role
Venture-scale swing
  • Parcel screening against substation proximity and interconnection reality
  • Zoning, flood, and terrain constraints in one pass
  • A diligence memo per site, not a dashboard to interpret

Easting Corridor

Research

Where to spend the trimming budget, argued from the point cloud.

For
Electric co-ops and municipal utilities priced out of enterprise tools
Role
Deepest-moat follow-on
  • Lidar and imagery change detection along the corridor
  • Encroachment ranked by span criticality, not just proximity
  • Built on free 3DEP, Sentinel, and NAIP data

These are sequenced, not separate bets. Deeds funds the company and hardens the extraction and validation engine; Sites and Corridor reuse that engine against domain models we have built before, in real-estate site selection and in utility corridor lidar.

Why anyone should trust a model with a legal document

They shouldn't, and we don't. Acreage sets tax assessments. Buffers decide who gets legal notice. So the model's job at Easting is narrow: transcribe faithfully, quote its source, and flag what it cannot read. Everything that follows is arithmetic.

PASS
The traverse closes within tolerance and the computed area corroborates the acreage the document states.
REVIEW
Something disagrees, and the reason is stated: a misclosure, an acreage mismatch, a low-confidence reading. A human decides whether the error is ours or the document's.
FAIL
The description cannot be computed as written, for example a course with no bearing. Nothing reaches your map.

This is GroundTruth, the verification layer every Easting product passes through. On the evaluation corpus that qualified it, no extraction containing an error ever reached a PASS.

Digitizing deeds today?

Easting Deeds is shipping. Keys are issued by hand right now, which means you get a conversation rather than a checkout page.
